There are many great technique and intensive wrestling camps to choose from. The best camps help athletes develop not only their skills on the mat but also the mental toughness and discipline that are essential for success in wrestling. Consider which types of wrestling camps would best fit your aspirations, budget, and timeline. Each camp is structured differently, and there are a lot of different options on where to go, how long to stay, and what to learn. Finding a camp, or clinic, that aligns with your needs and feels like the right fit for you can make all the difference.

Upper Arlington Wrestling team members have the opportunity to attend the Michigan Advanced Folkstyle Training & Competition Camp in Ann Arbor each summer. This four-day experience provides high-level wrestling instruction, competitive training, and valuable team-bonding opportunities. Team members who do not receive an email from Coach Stout containing team camp dates and details shortly after each end of season banquet is held, should reach out to him by mid-April. Registration is generally due by May 1, and Michigan camp is often scheduled for the third week of June. While participation is optional, we strongly encourage wrestlers to take advantage of this unique opportunity to develop their skills and strengthen team connections in preparation for the upcoming season.
