UA WRESTLING MOURNS LOSS OF FAMILY

UA Wrestling Parents:

It is with great sadness that I inform you that Scott Morley passed away on May 13th, after a three month battle with esophageal cancer.

Scott became involved with Upper Arlington Wrestling nearly 12 years ago when his sons Slade and Seth joined the Mat Cubs youth wrestling program.

Since that time, he has donated countless hours to Upper Arlington Wrestling at all levels, never once saying no when asked to help.  This includes the past five years when he gave up a week vacation time every summer to attend the Michigan Wrestling Camp with the team.  But this is just one public example of his unconditional commitment to Upper Arlington Wrestling and his sons participation in the program.  There were many other instances where Scott unselfishly donated his time to Upper Arlington Wrestling that only the coaching staff knew about.

Calling hours for Scott Morley will be on Tuesday from 5-8 PM at the Schoedinger Northwest Chapel on Zollinger Road.  A service will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM at that same location.

in lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to the Upper Arlington Wrestling Fund c/o of the Upper Arlington Athletic Booster Club.  Checks should be made out to the Upper Arlington Athletic Booster Club and if mailed, sent to Upper Arlington High School, 1650 Ridgeview Rd., 43221.

I ask that you please keep the Morley family in your thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

Matt
