With Winter Vacation just around the corner, I want to remind everyone of our practice schedule, including weight lifting, over the holidays, which was previously discussed at Meet the Team. The schedule is below.
In addition, I remind everyone that it is critical to the success of our team that everyone be at practice and team lifting. This includes those who are injured or have any type of skin disease. Those individuals can still get a cardio and/or weight lifting workout in at UAHS unless an injury prevents them from doing so.
Finally, if a wrestler is going to miss practice or team scheduled weight lifting, I need to know and the reason for his absence. Generally, death in the family, illness, and being out of town for family matters are the only permissible reasons for missing practice. If transportation is an issue over break, please let me know and we can assist.
